Since we started collaborating a couple of years ago, I’ve been sitting on this idea. The iconic, collegiate sweatshirt but make it OLD. Coincidentally, this week someone on Facebook said that she often spouted a phrase of mine, ‘ I’d rather look old than odd,’ (meaning I would never mess with my face) and I wondered why I haven’t said this recently. Perhaps wearing this sweatshirt will act as a prompt… I’m 60 at the end of the year and if I live to be 82.6 (the average life expectancy for a woman in the UK), I’m two-thirds of the way there. I’m no longer middle-aged, I am old. And I’m grateful. It’s a cliché but it is a privilege.

The OLD sweatshirt comes in a lovely navy blue hue, with black and grey flocked, varsity lettering. I’ve worn mine with dark jeans and a blazer, tucked into a denim skirt and paired with sporty trousers.
